PURPOSE: To obtain a new electrical device, by reading out the pattern of an explosion at the starting time from an ROM with the output from a counter counting a clock signal by the signal from a trigger gate generator and sounding the explosion from a speaker after D/A conversion.

CONSTITUTION: The pattern of an explosion necessary for the starting time in athletic sports is written in an ROM4. A switch S1 is closed and the trigger gate generator 1 is operated then a clock signal in a clock signal generator 2 is counted in a counter 3 by a signal from said generator 1 and the contents of memory in the ROM4 are transferred to a D-A converter 5 by changing the output condition. The explosion of starting signal is sounded from the speaker 7 through an amplifier 6. The changes of explosions are made in accordance with the changes of frequencies of the clock generator 2 as well as patterns written in the ROM4.
