Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance degree of freedom of starting position adjustment for a steel shell element, along with positioning accuracy when starting, at the same time accelerating starting work.SOLUTION: A starting stand 13 is provided, having a rail 12 for traveling laid on a work platform 11 in a horizontal (X) direction almost orthogonal to an axial (Z) direction of a steel shell element 2, the work platform being height-adjustable. The starting stand 13 is supported on the work platform 11 at four corners by height-adjustable jacks 21, 21..., and is also supported on the work platform 11 by a horizontal feeding device 22 at a central part on a base pushing side and a penetration side, the horizontal feeding device allowing position adjustment in a horizontal direction. The starting stand 13 is provided with a rotary mechanism 15 that grips the steel shell element 2 rotatably around the axis. By adjusting the jack 21 and the horizontal feeding device 22, position adjustment in the horizontal (X) direction and a height (Y) direction, as well as rotary adjustment for pitching (around the X-axis) and yawing (around the Y-axis), is performed for the steel shell element 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
