Abstract:
To provide a starting time control device of an internal combustion engine suitable for suppressing deterioration of power source voltage at starting time of cranking.
The starting time control device is equipped with: a glow plug 3 for heating a combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine by controlling power supply from a power source (battery 6); and an ECU 4 as a start control means operated by power from the battery 6, capable of controlling the operation state of a stator 2 for cranking the internal combustion engine, stopping conduction to the glow plug 3 immediately before start of cranking or at the same time as the start of cranking by the stator 2, and starting the cranking operation by the stator 2.
