Abstract:
To provide a method and an apparatus for accurate prediction of inner state of a refining facility in which refining reaction progresses.SOLUTION: The method comprises: setting information on a refining facility (for example, a refining furnace) and state of loaded molten iron as initial conditions of numerical calculations; setting operating parameters as boundary conditions; and calculating a change over time in each state of a liquid phase, a gaseous phase, and a boundary between the phases containing molten iron by using the initial conditions and the boundary conditions to predict inner state of the refining facility.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
