Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a status estimation device for a secondary battery capable of estimating a charging rate highly accurately even in a case where an offset error is present in a value detected by a voltage sensor.SOLUTION: A status estimation device for a battery has a battery status estimation part 5 that calculates an estimated value such as a voltage offset error δV of a voltage sensor by using an SOC-OCV model 52a imitating a relation between an open voltage and the charging rate of the battery. The battery status estimation part 5 calculates an estimated value of an open voltage OCV by inputting, in the SOC-OCV model 52a, the sum of the estimated value of the charging rate SOC and the estimated value of a charting-rate variation δSOC in a case where a variation equivalent to the estimated value of the voltage offset error δV occurs in the voltage of the battery 1. The respective estimated values of the charging rate SOC and the offset error δV are calculated so that an error ε between the estimated value of a terminal voltage CCV calculated from the estimated value of the open voltage OCV and a value detected by the voltage sensor is small.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
