Abstract:
To provide a clogging removal system for a steam trap capable of removing clogging at an early stage in a case where the clogging occurs in a discharge port, and a clogging removal method for the steam trap.SOLUTION: In a case where clogging occurs by sticking and depositing foreign substances in a discharge port of a steam trap 10, a drain flows back in a branch pipe 31 and flows from a divergent branch pipe 35 into an auxiliary steam trap 20. The flowing-in high-temperature drain is then discharged from the auxiliary steam trap 20 and given through a bypass pipe 37 to the steam trap 10. A cleaning part provided in the steam trap 10 receives the high-temperature drain given from the auxiliary steam trap 20, is automatically actuated by extending a bimetal and performs cleaning operation of the discharge port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
