Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber-reinforcing steel cord having a 1×5-type structure and compact size and exhibiting improved fatigue resistance while keeping high corrosion resistance.
CONSTITUTION: This rubber-reinforcing steel cord is produced by twisting 5 element wires having the same diameters in the close-packed state to form a trapezoidal cross-section.
