Abstract:
PURPOSE: To perform efficient welding work by the welding equipment having a narrow occupied area by providing elevating columns on the tips of horizontal beams of movable bases and providing welding robots capable of operating welding heads in an optional direction on these lower ends.
CONSTITUTION: Guide rails 5 are laied in the longitudinal direction of column material A on one side of a welding area 1 capable of positioning the column material A by rotational positioners 2 and 3. Welding carriages 6 and 7 which are movable freely are provided thereon. Two movable bases 10 and 11 which are freely movable in the moving direction thereof and approachable and separable mutually are arranged on the welding carriages 6 arid 7. Horizontal beams 13 freely movable to the welding area 1 side are provided on the movable bases 10 and 11. Elevating columns 16 which are freely movable vertically are provided on the tips of the horizontal beams 13 and the welding robots 17 capable of operating welding heads 19 provided with working arms in the optional direction are provided on the lower ends thereof. Consequently, welding of joint material joined to the column material can be carried out at the same time by two welding heads.
