Abstract:
To solve such problems that work is necessary in two different directions to apply a force in a straight direction of moving a joint body and a lock ring holder (nut) close to each other when connected, and a force in the rotating direction, and the connection is easily loosened with age.SOLUTION: In a steel pipe-joint connection mechanism 1 for connecting a steel pipe 2 having a crest type protruded part 21 which is enlarged at its end side into a crest shape and a joint 3, the joint 3 includes a connection cylinder part 32 having an annular ring engagement groove 35 formed in the center of the outer periphery to be connected to a nut 4, and the nut 4 has an annular outer cylinder part 41 to the inner periphery of which the outer periphery of the connection cylinder part 32 is externally fitted, and a ring groove 44 formed in the inner periphery of the annular outer cylinder part 41 on a concentric circle when connected to the ring engagement groove 35 in a pair. A spring ring 7 formed of an elastic body is fitted at its inner periphery ring side into the ring engagement groove 35, and the spring ring 7 is fitted at its outer periphery ring side into the ring groove 44, whereby the steel pipe and the joint are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
