Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel sheet for a strength-inclined member which enables the production of the strength-inclined member with high productivity without requiring joining or quenching by a laser, or the like, and a production method therefor. SOLUTION: The steel sheet for the strength-inclined member is used as the stock before press forming for the strength-inclined member having a high strength part whose strength is higher than that of the other parts in a member subjected to aging treatment after press forming. The steel sheet is obtained by applying prestrain of >=5% to the place to be used as the above high strength part of the above high strain age hardening steel sheet having the following characteristics, preferably, by leveling: the characteristics that the tensile strength when heat treatment is performed at <=400 deg.C after the application of 5% strain increases by >=40 MPa compared with the tensile strength when the same aging treatment is performed without applying strain thereto.
