Title:
STEEL SHEET PILE UNDERGROUND WALL STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013142275
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve efficiency for an usage ratio of a steel material by stiffening a steel sheet pile in simple structure to change a destruction mode of the steel sheet pile from a bend yielding type to a shear yielding type and by allowing an overall cross section of the steel sheet pile to be effectively resistive with respect to an in-plane shear load in earthquake, and furthermore, improve work efficiency required for welding and shorten a construction period by eliminating joint parts, subjected to welding, which extend in a depth direction of steel sheet piles, to reduce difficult welding work.

A steel sheet pile underground wall structure is provided which comprises a steel sheet pile 1A. Between an upper floor slab 2A and a lower floor slab 2B, a first stiffener 15 extending in a depth direction is connected, and the steel sheet pile 1A is stiffened by connecting the first stiffener 15 within an area of a distance, which is obtained by a predetermined calculation formula, to be stiffened from positions of upper and lower end portions in the depth direction between the upper floor slab 2A and the lower floor slab 2B.
