Title:
STEEL SLEEPER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2828240
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a local buckling by forming a sleeper of substantially reversed trapezoidal section consisting of a steel square pole material, setting the width of the upper surface of the sleeper larger than the width of the lower surface, and forming reinforcing ribs on both the lateral side surfaces.
CONSTITUTION: A thin plate steel is formed into a substantially reversed trapezoidal section to form a steel sleeper 1, and the steel sleeper 1 has two grooves 3 on the upper surface 2 for supporting a joist 7 and two ribs 5 formed along the longitudinal direction on the lateral side surfaces 4. The bottom part of the beam 1 is supported by the receiving piece 10 of a strut 9 of adjustable height, and the joist 7 is fixed to the upper surface of the beam 1 by a small screw. Thus, a clearance is difficult to be formed between the joist lower surface and the support surface part of the sleeper upper surface, and the creaking of a floor can be prevented.
