Abstract:

PURPOSE: To quietly and smoothyl conduct a upward and downward motion of an elevator, by making the hook openings in a steel tape, and also by applying a dumping a material.

CONSTITUTION: A steel tape 11 is wound passing around two tape wheels 9 and 12 located at two points of tangencies on the steel plate, and its ends 11a and 11b are connected with a top part 6a and a bottom part 6b respectively. Approximately H-shaped hook openings are made at given intervals in the steel plate 11, and a dumping material 14, such as urethane rubber, etc., is also applied on its outside surface in a coating or spraying process. And thus, the steel plate, 11, which drives a floor selector 8 in synchronization with the lifting motion of elevator, is geared with the teeth of the tape wheels 9 and 12 through the work of the hook openings 13 so as the steel plate 11 can be prevented from slipping, and the dumping material 14 serves to absorb gearing sound, and vibration and noise produced by the oscillation.
