Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device which can be loaded in a reduced space within a front bonnet having a little space and improves assembling ability in a production line and the maintenance of a vehicle.
SOLUTION: A steering column 1 is arrangedly provided so as to extend obliquely upward from the front of an engine 7 toward the inside of a driver's room 22 in a vehicle side view. In addition, the steering column is arrangedly provided so as to extend from the front of the engine 7 toward the inside of the driver's room 22 through a space sandwiched between the engine 7 and the side member 3 of a chassis frame in a vehicle plane view. The middle shaft 10 of the steering column 1 and a steering shaft 9 are mutually connected on the side of the engine 7 through a joint 24.
