PURPOSE: To facilitate manufacture by pivotally installing a steering rod on which a handle bar of a motor bicycle or the like is fixed on a shaft bearing carrier by double connection, and setting a pivotal motion axial line of double connection within a plane parallel to an axial line of a bearing to receive a car axle on the bearing carrier.
CONSTITUTION: A handle bar 1 is fixed on an upper end of a steering rod 2, and it is pivotally installed on a part of a car body frame of a vehicle without play. The steering rod 2 is connected to a carrier 3 fixed with a bearing 4 to receive a car axle, and the carrier 3 is connected to a car body frame through a suspension of the vehicle. A coupling between the steering rod 2 and the carrier 3 is composed of a universal joint having a cross member 5 comprising crossing arms, pivotally installed on fork ends 6, 7 of the carrier 3, and pivotally installed on fork ends 8, 9 of the steering rod 2. Pivotal axis lines X of the cross member 5 to the forks 6, 7 of the carrier 3 are set within a plane parallel to an axial line Y of the bearing 4.
