Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering device capable of suppressing fluctuation in motor torque when releasing the automatic steering control and varying the shift control time by steering operation of a driver.SOLUTION: A target motor torque setting part 43 includes an automatic steering release control part 43A switching the control mode from an automatic steering mode to a manual steering mode based on the intervening operation caused by the steering operation of a driver in the automatic steering mode. The automatic steering release control part 43A determines whether or not a shift start condition including at least a condition that the absolute value |Td| of the steering torque detected by a torque sensor 12 is equal to the predetermined torque threshold value or more is satisfied and starts the shift control when it is determined that the shift start condition is satisfied. In the shift control, the automatic steering release control part 43A sets the target motor torque Tmby weight-adding the target automatic steering torque Tadand the target assist torque Tmdwith use of the angle deviation Δθ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
