Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enlarge the volume of a containing section by forming a stepped recess in front of the steering device and steering gear arranging section of an instrument panel section and then defining the containing section with its bottom wall, the rear wall extending upward and a wind preventing section. CONSTITUTION:An instrument panel section 4A is formed into a hollow box by means of its rear wall 4a, an upper wall 4b, a front wall 4c, right and left sidewalls 4d, 4e and the bottom and rear walls 20a, 20b of a recessed section 20. Consequently, the rigidity at the panel section 4A is not damaged. Since a containing section 22 is defined by the bottom wall 20a and the rear wall 20b of the recessed section 20 and a wind preventing section 5A, while an excessive clearance is not existing between the wall body constructing said containing section 22 and the wall body constructing the panel section 4A, the containing section 22 can be formed into a deep shape having a large opening cross-section. The water applied onto the containing section 22 will pass through a discharge port section 24 to the outside of the front wall 3a of a stand section 3A.
