Abstract:
To provide a steering wheel characterized in that a latch spring for use in attaching an airbag system to a steering wheel body is disposed on the side of the airbag system.SOLUTION: A latch unit 10 is pushed and contracted in a longitudinally radial direction, and internally engaged with a spring receiving ring 3. In this state, latch claw plates 11 are pressed against the internal circumferential surface of the spring receiving ring 3 due to a constraining force of a latch spring 12. An airbag system 40 is brought close to a boss 34, and a pin 1 is inserted into a pin locking ring 37 through a pin insertion hole 36. The spring receiving ring 3 comes off the latch unit 10. The latch claw plates 11 are pushed into a latch groove 37c due to the resilience of the latch spring 12. The airbag system 40 is coupled to the boss 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
