Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation and to reduce a cost by integrating a detaching and attaching mechanism of a printing drum unit for a printer body with a connector attaching and detaching mechanism.
SOLUTION: The stencil printer comprises a printer body 1, a printing drum unit 5 rotatably supporting a printing drum 7 and detachable from and attachable to the body 1, a fixing means 21 for fixing the unit 5 to a predetermined position when the unit 5 is mounted at the body 1, a connector 13 for electrically connecting the body side to the drum unit side when the unit 5 is mounted at the body 1, a lever 19 for moving the means 21 to a fixing position and a releasing position, and a connector moving means 15 for moving the connector 13 to a connecting position and a non-connecting position. In this case, the lever 19 moves upward to position the means 21 at a fixed position and to position the connector 13 at a connecting position.
