PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stencil printer for stably keeping rotation of a plate cylinder constant with the lapse of time, by preventing an increase in electric power consumption.SOLUTION: The stencil printer is composed of the plate cylinder for winding a made-up master on an outer peripheral surface, a printing pressure roller for contacting-separating to the plate cylinder, a roller support member for supporting the printing pressure roller, an elastic member having one end supported by the roller support member and having the other end supported by a device body, a cam follower rotatably arranged in the roller support member and a cam oppositely arranged to the cam follower, and comprises printing pressure roller contacting-separating means for bringing the printing pressure roller into pressure contact with the plate cylinder by energizing force of the elastic member when a projection part of the cam does not engage with the cam follower, driving means for driving the plate cylinder, a driving transmission belt for connecting the plate cylinder, the cam and the driving means and load variation correction means connected to the driving transmission belt and generating a load of an antiphase so as to reduce a rotational load variation to the driving means via the driving transmission belt when the projection part of the cam does not engage with the cam follower.
