PURPOSE: To provide a step die for continuously extending plural products having arbitrary shape by one time of the extruding process.
CONSTITUTION: In the step die 10 superposed with plural dies 11, 21 having different extruding shape, the die hole shape of the preceding die 11 is different in the front surface 13 and the rear surface 14, and the die hole shape at the rear surface 14 of the preceding die 11 is fitted in the die hole shape at the front surface 23 of the succeeding die 21. Since the die hole shape at the rear surface 14 of the preceding die 11 is fitted in the die hole shape at the front surface 23 of the succeeding die 21, the extending shape of the succeeding die 21 is not restricted to the extruded shape of the preceding die 11 and plural products having arbitrary shapes are continuously extruded by one time of the extruding process.
