Abstract:
PURPOSE:To automatically attain neutral condition by installing a bearing at the bottom of a V-groove of a drive-side pulley for the V-belt to sit upon. CONSTITUTION:A ball bearing is installed at the bottom of a V-groove of a drive- side pulley 17. An inner race 25a of this ball bearing is fitted on a input shaft 2 and held between a snap ring 26 installed to the input shaft 2 and a fixed flange 18, and an outer race 25b thereof constitutes the bottom of V-groove of the pulley 17. To attain neutral condition, just shift a movable flange 19 of the pulley 17 away from the fixed flange 18, and the inner surface of the V-belt 31 will come in contact with and rest upon the outer race 25b of the bearing 25.
