A sterilizing device with a built-in ultraviolet lamp comprises an ultraviolet lamp 1, a transparent protecting tube 2 installed so as to surround the ultraviolet lamp 1, and an outer peripheral container 3 installed so as to surround the protecting tube 2. An aqueous solution flowing between the protecting tube 2 and the outer peripheral container 3 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays emitted from the ultraviolet lamp 1 to be sterilized. The respective magnetic poles 5a, 5b of a magnetic removal device 5 are disposed outside the outer peripheral container 3 so that a part of a generated magnetic field reaches inside the aqueous solution in the outer peripheral container 3 as a leak magnetic field.
