To provide a stick-like member extension container with high sealing performance that prevents volatile constituents included in the stick-like member from being sublimated and that avoids entry thereinto of friction particles and dust due to its cover body being added a rotational force, thus stably keeping the quality of the stick-like member.

In the stick-like member extension container which comprises: a hollow case proper 1 having openings respectively at its front tip end and rear tip end; a slider 2 movable along the axis of the case proper 1; a base member 3, rotatably mounted on the case proper 1, which advances or retracts the slider 2 in response to the direction in which it is rotated; and a cover body 4 that is removably engaged for its retention with the base member 3 while covering the case proper 1, an inner cover 5 is provided, inside the cover body 4, which encloses the opening in the tip end of the case proper 1, the inner cover being held through the medium of a stopper 6 so that it does not fall off.
