Title:
STIRLING ENGINE AND ACTUATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3797294
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine capable of suitably changing operating cycle of a displacer without any restriction in the arranging direction of a case.
SOLUTION: The Stirling engine is provided with the case, the displacer arranged in the case slidably, an expansion chamber and a working chamber where working gas flowing with the operation of the displacer flows in and out, and a power piston worked corresponding to the change in pressure of the working gas in the working chamber. There are provided with a magnet movable body arranged in the displacer, a cylindrical fixed yoke arranged in the case and arranged surrounding the magnet movable body, a displacer operating mechanism provided with a pair of coils arranged inside the fixed yoke, a power piston position detecting means for detecting the working position of the power piston, and control means for controlling to change over the direction of electrical current applied on a pair of coils of the displacer operating mechanism based on a detected signal from the power piston position detecting means.
