PURPOSE: To provide a stirring device bringing about sufficient liquid feed action and pressure raising action in a container, effectively performing the sending-out and discharge of treated matter, performing self-cleaning and not closing a tube stand.

CONSTITUTION: In a stirring device wherein a plurality of rotary shafts 7, 8 synchronously rotated in the same direction within a container 1 and arranged in parallel to each other and a plurality of the paddles 30, 31 fixed to the rotary shafts to perform stirring action are provided, the paddles 30, 31 are attached to the rotary shafts 7, 8 so as to mutually provide an interval in the axial directions of the rotary shafts and scrapers 30, 31 each having the length almost equal to the interval are attached to the leading ends of the paddles 30, 31 in parallel to the rotary shafts 7, 8. Further, same direction meshing type screws 11A, 11B, 11C; 12A, 12B, 12C are attached to the rotary shafts 7,8 so as to leave slight gaps between the inner wall of the container and the screws and between the screws.
