PURPOSE: To increase a compressing force on a needle when it is put through a stopper or a resealing force after the needle is pulled out by integrating a rubber stopper to an outer supporting piece made of a synthetic resin, inducing a compressing stress in the direction from, the entire side surface of the rubber stopper to its center part and thereby reducing the rubber stopper diameter.
CONSTITUTION: Using a rubber stopper 1b, it is held under a compression from the side surface 1br of its body by an outer supporting piece 2b. Being under the compression, this stopper is bulgingly deformed on the top surface 1bp and the bottom surface 1bp. Such deformation imparts a strong compression to a needle put through for infusion, strongly resealing the puncture after the needle is pulled out. In addition, the outer supporting piece 2b forms a holding frame 2br for the side face 1br of the stopper body as well as a reinforcing frame 2bp for the outer circumferential edge on the top surface side and also another reinforcing frame 2bq for that of the bottom surface side. Moreover, the reinforcing frame 2bq on the outer circumferential edge on the bottom surface side is extended to the infusion container 4S side with a flange 2bs formed at the tip end. In this method, the diameter is reduced 1-10% of at least either the top surface 1bp or the bottom surface 1bq of the rubber stopper 1b.
