Title:
STORAGE TYPE WATER HEATER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009210231
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a storage type water heater with high service performance capable of detecting an abnormality of a hot water filling circuit to a bathtub whether or not the filling of hot water has been carried out to the bathtub.

The storage type water heater is equipped with a hot water storage tank 1, a tapping pipe 3 of an upper part of the hot water storage tank 1, a first water supply pipe 4 supplying water to a lower part of the hot water storage tank 1, a second water supply pipe 6 branched from the first water supply pipe 4, a bath mixing device 5 connecting the tapping pipe 3 and the second water supply pipe 6 and mixing hot water and water, bath hot water supply piping 30 connecting the bath mixing device 5 and the bathtub 7, a bath temperature detecting means 16 in the bath hot water supply piping 30 for detecting a temperature of the hot water, a bath flow rate detecting means 17 for detecting whether the hot water flows into the bathtub 7, and a hot water pouring means 18 for carrying out the start and stop of the filling of the hot water to the bathtub 7. On the basis of a temperature detected by the bath temperature detecting means 16 and a flow of the hot water detected by the bath flow rate detecting means 17, a failure of the bath flow rate detecting means 17 or a failure of the hot water pouring means 18 is detected.
