To provide a straight pipe type lamp which has a non-flammable structure while incorporating a lighting circuit therein, and to provide a lighting device using the straight pipe type lamp.
A straight pipe type lamp 13 includes: a light source unit 23 having a light emitting element 33; a lighting circuit 24 which causes the light emitting element 33 to light; and a lamp body 22 which houses the light source unit 23 and the lighting circuit 24. The lamp body 22 includes: a straight pipe type pipe body 20 having light transmissivity in at least a part thereof; and a mouth piece 21a placed at an end part of the pipe body 20. The lighting circuit 24 is covered by an insulator 25, and the lighting circuit 24 is covered by a non-flammable cover 26a through the insulator 25.
