PURPOSE: To obtain a strain gauge type load cell having strain gauges pasted to predetermined parts of a strain inducing body in which the productivity of load cell is enhanced by positioning and pasting the gauges efficiently to the strain inducing body.
CONSTITUTION: Thin coupling parts are formed, as the parts 9a-9d for inducing tensile or compressive strain upon loading, at four points between two rigid parts 2, 3 and two beam parts 4, 5. Strain gauges 7 are then positioned and pasted to the upper or lower surface at each strain inducing part 9a-9d. In this regard, an alignment mark 13-13 is put on each side of the strain gauge 7 and four pair of parallel line 12, corresponding to total four alignment marks 13-13, are printed by means of laser at the parts of a strain inducing body 6 to be pasted with the gauges. The strain gauges 7-7 are pasted while confining the alignment marks 13-13 thereof within the width of the parallel lines 12.
