To facilitate readily the attachment to and detachment from clothing or bags, etc., and secure the convenience of taking out and housing when articles are carried on the person by equipping a handgrip with an integral ring-like section and in the vicinity of the fitting part of the handgrip with a hook free to be coupled with the ring-like section of the handgrip.

The string body which becomes the essential part of the strap is structured from a fitting part A1 in a thin ring-like string and a handgrip A2 in a long ring-like string to be inter-connected to the fitting part A1 by way of connective part 60. To the handgrip A2, an integral ring C consisting of rigid metal and the like, is fit movably. A hook B is provided into a hole 61 penetrated through the collective part 60 by way of an insertion ring 71, and the hook B closes and opens a ring part 74 by exiting and admitting a valve 73 according to a sliding operation of the handgrip 72. Thus, one can carry articles in a stable and easy state on the person and the taking out and housing of the articles can be performed quickly and readily only by means of the hook B for opening and closing functions.
