To provide a strip cutting device capable of cutting a material to be cut without deforming or crushing down a cut face.

The strip cutting device has a fixing member 2 having an insertion hole 7 capable of inserting a long-sized material 6 to be cut in the longitudinal direction, and a cutting drive member 4 slidably provided on a sliding face of the fixing member. The insertion hole is provided so as to have an opening on the sliding face. The cutting device member 4 is slid along the sliding face in a state that the tip part of the material 6 to be cut inserted into the insertion hole 7 is protruded from the opening of the sliding face, as a result, the material 6 to be cut is cut. The cutting drive member 4 has a communication hole capable of communicating with the insertion hole 7 and capable of passing the material 6 to be cut. The insertion hole and the communication hole are formed in the roughly same shape as a section in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the material to be cut in order to prevent the deformation of the material 6 to be cut.
