In the stroboscopic device provided with an automatic dimming circuit in which a photodetector receives reflected stroboscopic light obtained by emitting stroboscopic light and reflecting by an object, and the thyristor is actuated when the light quantity of the reflected stroboscopic light reaches a specified quantity so as to stop stroboscopic light emission, the temperature characteristics of the thyristor or the like is corrected by serially connecting a thermistor and a capacitor with the photodetector of the automatic dimming circuit.
