A digital camera system is provided with a digital camera 100 having a controller 121, an image processing circuit 116 and a strobe 125 having an arithmetic unit 125a, a memory 125b. The controller 121 of the digital camera 100 transmits spectroscopic data of the digital camera to the strobe 125. When the strobe 125 emits light in accordance with photography, the arithmetic unit 125a of the strobe 125 selects spectroscopic data corresponding to emitted light quantity, charge voltage of a capacitor for charge from the memory 125b, calculates a WB correction value at the time of imaging based on the spectroscopic data of stroboscopic light and spectroscopic data of the digital camera and transmits it to the digital camera 100. An image processing circuit 116 of the digital camera 100 performs WB correction processing based on the WB correction value.
