To provide a structure of an artificial tooth making moderate tightness so as to allow easy removal of an external crown and eliminate under- or over-tight engagement and thereby being good for use by general dental patients.

An artificial tooth includes an internal crown and an external crown. The internal crown includes a recess and a peg. The recess is formed in a top surface of the internal crown. The peg is formed on the recess. The peg has a top end forming a retention block. The external crown forms therein a resilient cover. The resilient cover is formed at a location corresponding to the retention block to form clamping engagement therebetween. When the external crown is fit over the internal crown, the resilient cover encloses and clamps the retention block.
