Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure of an electric furnace for outer space which achieves a minimizing of a heat loss by securing strength against vibration in the lift off while allowing easier maintenance in the replacing of a heater or the like.
CONSTITUTION: An intermediate cylinder 13 is arranged inside an outer cylinder 12, a ring-shaped stop device 18 for supporting a heater 17 is supported by radial and axial fixing bolts 19 and 20 and the intermediate cylinder 13 is supported on the outer cylinder 12 through a heat insulating foil 16. The fixing bolt 19 pierces the stop device 18 but not the outer cylinder 12 to minimize a heat loss and the intermediate cylinder 13 is supported through a soft- structured heat insulating foil 16 to absorb vibration or the like in the lift off. This enables the exchanging of the heater 17 in every intermediate cylinder 13 to facilitate maintenance. In addition, a link terminal 24 for supplying power to the heater 17 is provided between the intermediate cylinder 13 and the outer cylinder 12 and a fitting protrusion part 24a is fitted into or removed from a fitting recess part 24b thereby enabling the positioning of the heater 17 as well with the simplification of electric connection.
