Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a structure of coupling to a rotary joint at the end pat of a roll which takes extremely easy and rapid countermeasure without needing a special tool when maintenance and exchange of a roll are effected.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing mechanism 6 comprises an inner member 8 having one end having a fit-in part 16a fit in externally of the small pipe 1a of a roll 1 and the other end having a coupling part 14a coupled to the coupling end of a rotary joint 4; an outer member 10 arranged externally of the inner member; and a bearing 12 located between the inner member and the outer member. An outer member is supported by an outer member support mechanism 26 coaxially with a small pipe part and axially movably. Besides, the outer member is axially moved by an outer member press movement mechanism 34 and pressed against the small pipe side.
