Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce an occupying space as a result of a cross section being small and to provide a comparatively high rigidity compared with its sectional area.
CONSTITUTION: Plates 7 and 8 for reinforcement are protruded from a long main structure material 5, and a tension material 6 is stretched between the plates 7 and 8 to constitute a structure member 1. The main structure material 5 is properly compressed through the tension of the tension material 7 to improve rigidity and since a force to bend the main structure material 5 is erased by the tensile force of the tension material 7, a comparatively high rigidity is provided even when a small section material is used for the main structure material 5. Further, a space occupied by the structure material is also decreased as a result of constitution being executed by using a small section member.
