PURPOSE: To mount a shut-off valve in a piping in a non-water failure and non-injection state by providing a saddle part having sealed division part and connection part, a valve part through which a cutting device, and the shut-off valve pass in an opening state, and a device part capable of mounting and containing the cutting device and the shut-off valve in a closed state.
CONSTITUTION: A shut-off valve 2 mounted in a piping 1 is a wafer type butterfly valve, and comprises a saddle part 3, a valve part 4 mounted on the saddle part 3, and a device part 5 mounted on the valve part 4. The saddle part 2 is of a division type. The valve part 4 has a through-hole 3c through which a cutting device, a metallic chip removing device, and the shut-off valve 2 are capable of passing in an opening state. The device part 5 has a cutting device, a metallic chip removing device, the shut-off valve 2, and a space 5b containing the devices in a state to close the valve 4. This structure mounts the shut-off valve without stopping fluid in a pipe.
