Abstract:

PURPOSE: To install a filter main body in space as small as possible by connecting the filter main body to a first holding member at a pivoting point, by guiding a paw part by a groove within a second holding member and making the filter main body freely revolvable.
CONSTITUTION: A filter main body 33 is mounted on a holding member 37 at a pivoting point 43 so as to be freely revolvable around a shaft. The filter main body 33 is provided with a pawl part 45 which extends vertically to the surface of a figure and fits into a radius of curvature direction groove 47 of a holding member 37'. The holding member 37' is located on the upper part of the holding member 37 so that the paw part 45 may be engaged to the groove 47. When the holding members 37, 37' are revolved each other in an assembling state, the groove 47 revolves the filter main body 33 around the pivoting point 43, thereby, the filter main body 33 covers a part of a center opening 39 and does not cover it. When both of the holding members 37, 37' are revolved together, the edge part 49 of the filter main body 33 revolves around the center line of X-ray beam extending vertically to the surface of a figure. Since a single motor is used because of both the revolutions and displacement of the filter main body 33 of X-ray beam, the filter means takes space less than that of a conventional filter means.
