Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient subject pressing apparatus generally usable after-fitted to a fluoroscopic radiographing table.
SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with an air cushion 10 for pressing the abdominal region of a subject M lying with the face down on a movable table 38 of the fluoroscopic radiographing table A; a solenoid valve 19 for expanding the air cushion, interposed in a discharge duct 13 of a vacuum pump 12 used as an air supply/exhaust source; and a solenoid valve 20 for contracting the air cushion, interposed in an inlet duct 14 of the vacuum pump 12. Opening/closing switches 32, 33 of both solenoid valves 19, 20 are alternatively operated to open/close from an operating chamber R2 to remotely expand or contract the air cushion 10.
