PURPOSE: To obtain a new substd. oxime ether having an improved, wide possibility of use for plant protection.
CONSTITUTION: This oxime ether is a compd. of formula I (where R1 is a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C alkenyl, a 3-4C alknyl, a 1-6C halogenalkyl, a 3-6C halogenoalkenyl, a 1-4C alkoxy-1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl, a cyan-(1-6)C alkyl, an aryl-(1-6)C alkyl, a heteroaryl-(1-6)C alkyl or the like; R2 and R3 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl, a 1-2C halogenoalkyl, a 1-4C alkoxy, a 1-2C halogenoalkoxy, a halogen, CN or NO2; R4 is H, a 1-6C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl, a 1-7C halogenoalkyl or an aryl; R5 and R6 are each H or a 1-4C alkyl; X is CN or N), for example, 2-[2'- methyl-4'-(methoxyiminoethyl-1")-phenoxymethyl]-phenylglyoxylic acid methylamide-O-methyl oxime. The compd. is obtained from a substd. oxime ether as a starting material by a pathway represented by the reaction formula.
