Abstract:

To easily insert a partition wall using suction loads.SOLUTION: A suction foundation 100 comprises: a partition wall 10 that has a ceiling section 11 and a peripheral wall section 12 that is connected to the ceiling section 11, that is formed so that a bottom is opened, and for which the peripheral wall section 12 is inserted into an underwater ground G; a drain part 30 that applies suction loads to the partition wall 10 by sucking water in the partition wall 10; and a water supply part 40 that supplies water with positive pressure into the ground G from a lower end of the peripheral wall section 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
