To provide a suction head capable of efficiently draining a large amount of water in puddles scattered over a wide area on sandy ground, as in a baseball field, or on a concrete ground.

A suction pipe 5 having a cavity therein is provided with wheels 4 and 4 on its outer periphery at both ends of a cylindrical perforated roller 3. The wheels are rotatably journaled to the suction pipe 5, and a cylindrical filter roller 1 having an inside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the perforated roller 3 and having side protectors 8 and 8 at each end, and an absorber roller 11, are eccentrically journaled to the suction pipe 5. A gap 15 which is in the form of a large crescent when viewed on its cross section is formed between the perforated roller 3 and the filter roller 1 and water is sucked through a suction opening 6 hanging down from the suction pipe 5.
