PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body for an air circulation type vacuum cleaner, which can suppress the blowing out of air from the air inlet even when a flexible surface to be cleaned such as a sheet is sucked into the air inlet.
SOLUTION: On one side of a suction port main portion 102 having an air inlet 129, a reflux outlet port 103 which blows out air to be circulted to the air inlet side is provided. On the opposite side from the reflux outlet with the air inlet as a border, a connecting pipe 101 which communicates with the vacuum cleaner main body side is provided. An air direction control plate portion (suction guide) 142 which guides the air which moves from the reflux outlet to the internal connecting pipe 105 of the connecting pipe 101, by a confronted surface 142bf to the air inlet 129, is provided, and on the confronted surface 142bf, a bypass passage 134 is provided. Even when a flexible surface to be cleaned such as a sheet is sucked through the bypass passage 145, the stream of air from the air outlet 103 to the internal connecting pipe 105 is ensured through the bypass passage 145, and the air is prevented from blowing out from the air inlet 129.
