Abstract:
PURPOSE: To quickly collect and discharge the generated dust by providing a surface treatment mechanism, held in a suction type wall surface walking device, with a box by which a portion to be treated is partially surrounded, and connecting an evacuation hose to a dust outlet provided in the box.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of leg mechanisms, each having a vacuum suction board 30 mounted at its end, are suspended from the lower portion of a circular main body frame 2 molded from rubber or resin into a float-shaped body that is approximately O-shaped on plan view, each of the leg mechanisms being designed to freely expand and contract vertically and to freely move back and forth along the main body frame 2. A blast mechanism 70, serving as a surface treatment mechanism comprising a box 73, a blast nozzle 74 to which a blast supply hose 71 is connected, a blast rocking mechanism 80 for rocking the blast nozzle 74, and the like, is mounted in the main body frame 2. The box 73 is open on its lower side, and a mixture (dust) of shot and rust, etc., admitted through this opening is sucked and collected via a blast collecting hose 72.
