The suction vehicle includes: a receiver tank 22 for recovering the recovery objects; a cylindrical part 31 disposed on the upper surface of the receiver tank 22 to form a ceiling opening 30; a float valve 40 which covers the ceiling opening 30 and includes a valve body 42 provided with a valve seat 41 in the inside and a float 43 for closing the valve seat 41 when the receiver tank 22 is full; piping 50 communicated to a space 31 above the valve body 42 of the cylindrical part 31, for sucking the recovery objects into the receiver tank 22 by the suction negative pressure of a Roots blower and being released to the atmosphere when the vehicle travels; a bypass pipe 51 communicating a space 31 above the valve body 42 of the cylindrical part 31 and an upper space 22b inside the receiver tank 22; and an electric ball valve 60, which is provided in the midway of the bypass pipe 51, to be closed when the Roots blower 25 is driven and to be opened when the vehicle travels.
