Abstract:
To provide a superconducting current limiting element which forms a banded shape in a vertical direction to a current carrying direction.
The superconducting current limiting element 10 includes an insulating substrate 4, a superconducting film 3 formed at least on one side of the insulating substrate 4, and a normal conducting resistive film 5 wherein a first resistance part 1 and a second resistance part 2 are alternately arranged on one side of the superconducting film 3 in the current carrying direction to form the banded shape.
