Abstract:
The device (1) has a superconductive component (22) for producing magnetic field when electric power is supplied to the component. A permeable yoke (21) produces magnetic flux of the magnetic field. A low temperature section (3) cools a conductive section (33) and the yoke to a low temperature condition when the conductive section stands in thermal contact with an external peripheral section of the yoke. The conductive section is made of a material that exhibits a linear expansion coefficient larger than a linear expansion coefficient of a material of the yoke.
