Title:
SUPERCONDUCTING ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05235420
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a superconducting element in which a superconducting film is scarcely melted by allowing a metal film to be scarcely melted. CONSTITUTION:Thickness of a metal film 4 is set to 0.08mum or more. The thickness of the film is limited to a range in which a sum of currents flowing to a superconducting film and the metal film after a short-circuiting current exceeding a critical current of the superconducting film 2 flows to the superconducting film to abruptly increase the resistance of the superconducting film and to abruptly limit short-circuiting current not increasing higher than a current peak value before the short-circuiting current is abruptly limited. Further, the metal film is formed in a non-oxygen atmosphere.
